Mei Sze Goh

Art Therapist and Counsellor

Mei is the Founder of Awakening Creative Therapies, and is a Sensorimotor Art Therapist and Counsellor with a rich educational background, including a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology, a Masters in Counselling, a Diploma in Sensorimotor Art Therapy, and a Certificate in Clay Field Therapy. She has over 20 years of experience in community services and paediatric palliative care.

Mei has dedicated her career to supporting children and families, training volunteers, educating communities, and creating innovative therapeutic programs. Her extensive experience encompasses counselling in grief and loss, specialising in trauma, co-facilitating Art Therapy courses, most importantly, providing innovative and effective creative arts therapy sessions.

As a Clinical Registrant with the PACFA National Register of Psychotherapists and Counsellors, Mei’s passion lies in providing holistic, dynamic, and innovative therapies to individuals and groups. Her commitment is to empower each person to reach their potential through evidence-based support and therapy through a safe, respectful and compassionate space.

Mei believes every child deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential, becoming engaged, loving, empathic, and leaders of their own future. She is committed to supporting each individual on their unique path to healing and growth.
