Collection of your information

To provide the best treatment and quality healthcare services, we collect information concerning you or your child’s personal, medical, and family history. We treat patient health information with utmost confidentiality and will only collect data with your consent. All information we receive from our customers is protected by our secure server.

Use and disclosure of your information

To ensure comprehensive care for your child, it is sometimes necessary for other healthcare professionals involved in their treatment to have access to their complete health information. With your consent, we may share health information with other healthcare providers. Typically, we communicate with your referring physician after the consultation and or assessments.

We may disclose you or your child’s information for educational purposes. In that event, disclosure of your personal details will be minimised wherever possible. On seldom occasions we may also use parts of your health information for research purposes, in study groups, case discussions or seminars, as this may provide benefit to other patients. Should that happen, your personal identity will not be disclosed without your consent to do so.

A limited set of patient information is shared with Medicare exclusively for billing and reimbursement purposes. Please be aware that there are legal obligations that may require us to disclose specific information, such as a law, regulation, court order, subpoena, warrant, in the course of a legal proceeding, in response to a law enforcement agency request or in the case of a concern for safety.

Access to your information

You have the right to access your health information, including the option to review the information or request a copy of specific parts or the entire medical record. In certain situations where privacy considerations for others are involved, there may be limitations to granting access, and we will inform you accordingly. Please be aware that your child’s health information may, at times, be subject to restrictions to protect their privacy, limiting access by parents or guardians.

If you identify any inaccuracies or omissions in the information we maintain, you are entitled to request corrections.
